5th Grade Supply List

2017-2018

Classroom Supplies:  The following items will be collected from your student and distributed as needed during the school year

• 2 rolls of paper towels
• 24 #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils please)
• 2 large pink erasers
• 1 pkg of pencil top erasers
• 4-6 large glue sticks
• 2 black fine point Sharpie markers
• Pkg of Expo Markers
• 1 pair of scissors
• 1 box of 24 crayons
• 1 box of washable color markers (fine tip or thick)
• Pkg of notebook paper (wide rule)

Individual supplies:– These items will be kept by your students in their personal space

• Non-disposable water bottle, labeled with name, to stay in classroom
• 2 blue or black pens
• 2 highlighters
• 1 box of 8-12 colored pencils, basic colors
• 5 Spiral Notebooks (wide rule with 3 holes, various colors if possible)
• 5 sturdy 2 pocket folders, no prongs in center
• 1 zippered pencil pouch for binder
• 1 plastic pencil box to hold classroom supplies (pens, highlighters, colored pencils, eraser)
• 2 inch ring binder
• Pkg of notebook dividers
• HEADPHONES??

Nice to Haves (not required): These will be added to the school’s stock

• Box of tissues
• Ziploc bags (various sizes)- we use these for projects
• Disinfectant wipes (clorox wipes)
• Small pack of toilet paper
• Large Elmer's Glue Bottle

Wish List (not required): These items will help us get our classrooms established

• Board games/ puzzles
• Grade appropriate books for classroom library (fiction and non-fiction)
• Craft supplies for projects (such as yardage, tongue depressors, cardboard, modeling clay, string, glue guns/glue sticks, empty toilet paper or paper towel rolls, small assorted boxes (i.e. shoe boxes), egg cartons, beads, glitter, chenille wire, ribbon, felt, paper b
